National Fund Podcast: State of our workforce
On April 23rd, 2025 we were honored to be featured in the inaugural episode of the National Fund for Workforce Solutions’ new podcast series, “State of Our Workforce: Unpacked.” 🎙️ The platform is a brand-new podcast spinoff from their original “State of Our Workforce” monthly podcast series —diving deeper into workforce innovation happening across the country.
In this episode, our Executive Director, Matt Stevens, and Director of Community Programs, LorMona Meredith, shared insights from HWFC’s From Crisis to Opportunity report, which explores how cross-sector collaboration, community-led solutions, and intentional investments are helping to reshape the future of work here in Hawai‘i.
🌱 This podcast digs into what real systems change looks like—and how local communities are leading the way toward equity, innovation, and impact in workforce development.
